Custom CNC Machined Rollers with Bearings
The Problem
This customer required a small production batch of 30 new rollers complete with bearings.
Rather than sourcing an off-the-shelf roller that may not suit the existing equipment, the customer supplied an original sample for Pinney Engineering Services to reproduce.
The Engineering Solution
Pinney Engineering Services reverse engineered the supplied roller to establish the required dimensions and bearing fitment.
The custom CNC machined rollers were then manufactured on the CNC lathe to provide consistent dimensions across the batch.
Once machining was completed, the bearings were fitted to produce finished replacement rollers, ready for the customer’s application.
